Vaishnodevi helicopter service starts from Katra. The helicopter vaishnodevi-darshan.htmlops at Sanjhichat which is 2 kms before the holy bhavan.
The helicopter service can be availed in three ways:
- Katra-Sanjhichat Helicopter service ( one-way )
- Sanjhichat-Katra Helicopter service ( one–way )
- Katra-Sanjhihchat–Katra helicopter service ( two-way )

- Time taken:
- A 5-8 minute Vaishnodevi helicopter ride is available. By helicopter service, the holy Vaishnodevi darshan can be completed in about 4 hours.
- All year round, Vaishnodevi helicopter service is offered.
- Vaishnodevi helicopter service online booking: The booking for vaishnodevi helicopter service is done online. The tickets should be booked atleast sixty days prior to the date of visit
- Other info: the tickets once booked cannot be transferred, nor any changes can be made.

- Trip to Katra (about a 4-hour drive) after breakfast, and then take a taxi to your accommodation.
- Visit Wagah Border in the evening to witness the Border Retreat Ceremony. The most endearing of the spectacles as a daily evening drill is the pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani military. Before you depart to watch this sight, find out the times because they change seasonally. The sole open land border between Pakistan and India is at Wagha. Stay the night in Amritsar.
- Day 4: Amritsar-Katra
- Visit the Golden Temple in the morning, the most revered Sikh temple. It serves as a representation of the majesty and tenacity of the Sikh people worldwide. The history and philosophy of Sikhism are intertwined with the development of the Darbar Sahib. Other houses of worship's emblems are incorporated into its architecture. This exemplifies the tolerance and acceptance that are important to the Sikh religion.
- Also visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs’ Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.

- Day 4: Srinagar-Pahalgam
- After breakfast at 10 AM transfer to Pahalgam, on the way visit the Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is eleven hundred years old Temple. Witness the serene natural beauty of Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari Overnight at the Hotel
- Day 5: Pahalgam- Gulmarg
- After breakfast at 10 AM leave for Gulmarg . Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes.
